Maison Bonnefoy at the Élysée

Maison Bonnefoy was selected to take part in the Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France on October 19–20, 2024 — a true source of pride for our family-owned company, built on heritage and craftsmanship.

A unique event

We are honored to have been chosen for the third edition of the Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France, held in October 2024.

This national exhibition shines a light on the excellence of French craftsmanship, a reflection of the richness and diversity of our economic landscape. We were proud to showcase one of our sustainable products: the Vannes blanket, entirely made in France using 100% recycled materials.

Our teams’ work was recognized through the inclusion of this eco-responsible product, proudly presented at the Élysée Palace over the weekend — a real mark of recognition for our heritage brand.

The best of French manufacturing in the spotlight

No fewer than 2,200 products were submitted to be considered for the 2024 edition. This prestigious event has become a showcase for French savoir-faire and is highly sought after by artisans, associations, producers, and manufacturers who are committed to promoting locally made products.

The 2024 edition marked the fourth chapter of this initiative. In 2023, over 9,000 visitors came to discover 120 French-made products exhibited at the Élysée.

The Vannes blanket: 100% eco-responsible

Its yarn is made from recycled, used knitwear. Spun in the French Tarn region, the thread is neither dyed nor bleached, and undergoes no chemical treatment. Delivered to our workshop in cone form, this responsible material is transformed by Maison Bonnefoy into a high-quality, warm, and durable blanket.

The Vannes blanket is a unique creation, thoughtfully designed to support a more sustainable way of consuming
